In this technology industry financial litigation bench trial, plaintiff shareholder Anthony Kasmer sought to enforce his inspection demand of Immersion Corporation’s books and records relating to the company’s restatement of its financial results. On August 10, 2009 Immersion Corporation announced that its financial results for the year ending December 31, 2008 should not be relied upon because of errors and restated the results.

The plaintiff was represented by attorney Francis Pillegi. The defendant in this case, Immersion Corporation was represented by attorney Richard Rollo.
